I'm glad you got to the big gig. I live out in the leafy 'burbs (about 8 miles out, though still on the AtoZ Central London section) and go "up to Town" hardly ever. In some ways it's like going abroad. Nice pic of cricket. As you say, very English!

I have been in a music-free zone for a couple of years, though the bits I have heard of bands such as Keane have not impressed me. In fact, I have only bought Stacey Kent and White Stripes. I must say I enjoy the Meg and Jack show.
I'll download some of the current stuff when I get a spare moment.

Sadly making them more difficult will reduce the money they make off the premium phone lines (after having paid off BT or whoever). The simpler the question, the more people will ring, thus he likes of breakfast TV makes plenty dosh.

This is how Millionnaire is able to offer such high prizes. Think about it:

1M people ring to get on the show each day at £1 (for example) per call.

50p goes to BT meaning £500K clear profit to be used for prize money.

£3.5M per week to cover prize money.

Say £1.5M for actual prize money, and the rest is pocketed by the people who thought the idea up.

Multiply by 52 and there is £78M profit.

Wish I had thought of it!!!!!!!
